Senior Engineer – DevOps and Automation (Multiple positions: 2-8 years’ experience)

Verana Networks is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 2-8 years of experience, to join our DevOps and Automation team. As an integral part of the development process, our DevOps and automation team has a diverse set of responsibilities from creating and managing Infrastructure pipelines, building automation testing frameworks, creating data pipelines, doing stateful analysis of logs, and creating an observability platform. Ideal candidates should be self-driven and understand the need for DevOps.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and execute test automation scripts and build automation framework
• Writing Python code development, testing, and deployment workflow.
• Building CI/CD pipelines.
• creating a platform for monitoring, logging, and visualizing different metrics.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in the development and testing of automation frameworks using Python
• Prior experience in developing test automation frameworks in the 4G/5G radio access network domain is highly desirable
• Experience in using Frameworks such as Docker/Kubernetes/Ansible is desired.
• Experience in GUI development using HTML/CSS/JS/Angular JS/Django are preferred.
• Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud server.
• Knowledge on database technologies like MySQL / Elasticsearch / DynamoDB.
• Prior experience in DevOps toolchain, GIT CI/CD (Jenkins) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of IP and routing protocols including IPv6, TCP/IP, UDP, OSPF, SCTP, VLAN, IPsec, NAT, concepts around switching and routing.
• High proficiency in Python language programming (Basic & Advanced)
• SoapUI or REST API testing or other web services experience.
• Excellent Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills are desired.
• Ability to work as an independent contributor as well as a collaborator.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
