Senior Product Manager

Verana Networks is seeking a Senior Product Manager with 7+ years of relevant cellular industry experience to join the team. Verana is a young company focused on developing and delivering innovative 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions to the cellular industry. The Product Manager will be joining a team of seasoned professionals with long and varied RAN experience and will be exposed to a dynamic market and work environment from day one.   • Shape Verana’s RAN software product strategy, including product definition, feature selection/prioritization, pricing, product lifecycle management, and roadmap development
  • Collect requirements and feedback from customers and the marketplace
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on feature prioritization, schedules, and tradeoffs
  • Perform competitive analyses
  • Market products to Verana’s customers
  • Participate in industry forums and events



  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience, e.g., software development for cellular networks, with at least 2 years in a customer facing role, preferably as a product manager
  • Solid understanding of, and technical/commercial experience with 4G/5G cellular communications
  • Working knowledge of Radio Access Network technologies and architectures, including 4G/5G cellular protocol stacks, air interfaces, OAM & element management systems, O-RAN interfaces
  • Experienced in software product management, including software architecture, frameworks, platforms, virtualization/container/cloud technologies, support & maintenance, pricing
  • Customer/applications/sales engineering experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Energetic self-starter with ability to collaborate with, and influence stakeholders in product management, marketing, engineering, quality assurance, finance, operations, and sales teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS required; graduate degree and/or MBA a plus
