Senior Systems Engineer

Location: India

Join an exciting VC-funded start-up in that is developing an innovative 5G radio network solution. We are looking for experienced systems engineers with strong expertise in developing feature and high-level design specifications for LTE/5G NR radio access networks.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop technical feature requirements specifications
• Develop high-level Layer 2 and Layer 3 designs for 5G NR
• Work closely with product management, software development and quality assurance teams to insure successful delivery of critical system features to customers
• Work closely with technical experts and counterparts at operator customers and partners

Job Qualifications

• Significant experience working on LTE and 5G NR radio access networks as a systems engineer is required
• Candidates must have a deep knowledge of 3GPP RAN standards, especially in Layer 2 and Layer 3 LTE/5G NR protocols.
• Experience in 5G NR physical Layer, RAN security or RAN element management is a significant plus
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• MSEE required, Ph.D. is a significant plus.
